I decided that I would give some rice cereal a shot. Our pediatrician doesn't recommend food until around 6 months, but Bowdre has seemed really interested in the past several weeks, so I decided to go for it! I'm glad I did, because, although it was funny, it showed me that she wasn't quite ready yet. It was a really fun experience, but I think I'll wait another month before I try anything else. Instead, our pediatrician recommends starting water from a glass at 4 months instead of food, and she's doing pretty good with that (as long as she doesn't stick her tongue out).
