~Wedding Reception~

My wedding reception was definitely something I will never forget! It was the wedding reception I had always dreamed of, and I have to thank my parents and nana for making it happen! It was a gorgeous set up with glass dinnerware and black and white tablecloths to go along with my black and white theme! We served tea and lemonade, along with lots of heavy hor d'oeuvres. We had pasta salad, garden salad, chicken salad, meatballs, fruit, veggies, cheese, shrimp and rice casserole, ham and turkey croissonts and had a roast beef carving station! We had yummy desserts like cheese straws and lady fingers and of course there was wedding cake too! (More about that later!) As our wedding giveaway, we let guest fix bags of jelly bellies to take home! How fun!

My dad built a building for my wedding that was turned into a dance floor! It was perfect! We got the Grape Vine Band to play for the reception and oh my goodness are they wonderful! They were the band that I always wanted to play, and it was totally worth it! They were so much fun and kept the crowd constantly engaged! I think everyone had a great time listening to them and dancing the night away! I know me and Warren did!

Here are a few shots of the dancing that took place!

They even got the moms and dads involved...it was a sight!

And of course, we had to be introduced to the crowd as Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hardy Clements!

And have our first dance to Van Morrison's "These Are The Days."

Then the father/daughter dance to David Glenn's "Daddy's Little Girl"!

And the mother/son dance to Johnny Mercer's "Moon River."

And then it came time to cut the cake! The bride's cake is exactly what I pictured it to be! I wanted a very elegant cake and the fabulous Annelle Dickey made my wedding cake for me! It was absolutely breathtaking!

We had a fun time cutting it too!

And of course I couldn't think of anything better for Warren's grooms cake!

The night went by so fast...before I knew it, it was time to throw the bouquet and garter! We had a lot of fun with that too...especially Warren!

As the evening went on, the band got Warren to sing to me! It was so funny, and Warren honestly did a great job. The band got him to sing, "You've Lost that Loving Feeling." What was so funny, is that the band only meant for Warren to sing just a line or too...but since Warren is the biggest Top Gun fan, he knew the whole song, and the band just went with it...it was really the Warren show for a second, and it was so funny!

Before I knew it, it was time to say goodbye. This really was a great night! The band gave us a parting gift, my dad gave a speech thanking everyone, the limo arrived, and it was time!

We left out of the front door of my house surrounded by fireworks! It really was an amazing and unforgettable night! I am so blessed to have had the wedding of my dreams!
