~Bowdre's Baby Dedication~

Bowdre was dedicated at Bible Baptist Church in Savannah this past Sunday, November 23rd. It was a truly amazing and emotional experience, and as her parents we have chosen to raise her in the church and pray that she lives a life for God. We hope she will understand the importance of going to church, reading the Bible, and talking with God daily. All of these things she will learn from us, the family and friends that surround her, and the church that has chosen to help guide her path. We were surrounded by family and friends, and had a truly amazing day!

Here are a few pictures from the church!

The dedication was very special. Pastor Hubbard announced her name, the day she was born and the meaning of her name. During my announcement of what family and friends were attending, of course I started to Boo Hoo and Warren had to finish! I'm always so emotional (sorry you will have to endure that Bowdre). Here are a couple of pictures during the dedication. Please ignore my facial expressions. It took all I had not to completely break down in front of everyone! We were so proud of our little angel. She was a champ throughout the entire dedication and while other adorable babies were being dedicated too!

After the service, everyone came back to our house for some great food, fellowship, and to celebrate this special day in our little family's life.

After we ate a wonderful lunch, we all indulged in a wonderful slice of cake! Yumm. After we were all full as ticks, we got to open Bowdre's gifts!

She got a beautiful snow globe from Aunt Leigh Anne and Uncle Robby!

A sweet book and adorable plate from Uncle Preston and Aunt Joan!

A gorgeous necklace from Gammy, Pop, Uncle Mark and Nana!
And a special handkerchief from Mommy and Daddy that she can carry on her wedding day!

It was truly a great day, and we appreciate everyone who came to show their love for Bowdre and this very special day! It was a moment that we will never forget! Here are some family pictures from the day!
