~Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue~

For my wedding, the "somethings" were very important to me and each were chosen with much thought and care.

For my Something Old, I chose the New Testament Bible that was given to me by my parents on my 1st birthday. On the front page of the Bible, it says that "may this Bible be put in the bride's bouquet on her wedding day.

For my Something New, I chose the earrings that were given to me by Warren on the day of our wedding, and I also chose the string of pearls that were given to me by my parents and nana just before I walked down the aisle!

For my Something Borrowed, I chose my grandmother Anne Rocker's wedding gown. I had previously taken some bridal portraits in her gown, and decided to display one of the pictures as my bridal portrait at the wedding!

 For my Something Blue, I chose my granddaddy's handkerchief with his "W" initial monogrammed in blue. He was very special to me, and he passed away a little less than a year before my wedding, so this was my way of having him with me that day.
