~Our Mini, Much-Needed Hilton Head Weekend Getaway~

Even with Bowdre feeling a little under the weather, we still decided to keep our weekend getaway trip to Hilton Head on the agenda. We just figured if she had to be sick, the beach and the fresh-salty air might do her some good. Turns out we were right. By Saturday morning, she was back to normal.

We rode bikes, lounged around, and of course frequented the pool with watermelon...lots and lots of watermelon.

We ended our getaway with a super delicious dinner out at Carolina Crab Company, a new restaurant in Hilton Head. Really great boiled seafood!

We are going to try to do these mini-getaways more often. They are just good for the soul, and apparently "needed" when trying to get over being sick!
